Previously, the party began exploring the Battleground, the floating island in the southwestern sky. They explored as far down as floor B4, where the area's campsite is located. Now, they will continue exploring the Battleground in search of legendary ore.

Northwest of the campsite, the party finds a rope that they can descend all the way down to floor B8. The path beyond leads down to floor B9.

The Charm +40 panel under the Luminary skill in Davilas's Character Builder is a surprise panel that awards 10 bonus skill points.

In the northeast chamber of floor B9, a chest contains the recipe book "Sacred Styles for Saintly Ladies". It contains recipes for Goddess's Tiaras and Saintess Dresses.

Along the passageway just north of the ramp, the party finds a bunny girl. When she asks if they want a Puff-Puff, she rushes off to the north. When the party consents to a Puff-Puff, the player is treated to one of the most interesting Puff-Puffs in the franchise. The player earns the trophy "Puff-Puff Buff" for experiencing all the Puff-Puffs in the game. Fantastic.

Underneath the northern side of the ramp, a chest contains an Agate of Evolution. The southern chamber is locked off by a door that the party cannot open yet.

The party goes upstairs to floor B8. In the western wing of B8, a chest in the northwest contains a Chronocrystal. A chest at the southeast dead end of the western wing contains a Brain Drainer, a good shield that increases elemental resistance.

The party continues upstairs to floor B7, where Overkilling Machines begin appearing. They are weak to lighting-elemental attacks, such as the protagonist's Zap-line spells under the Luminary skill and lightning-elemental spears. In the dead end west of the ramp, a chest contains the Bad Axe. Despite its name, it is a good axe for Hendrik. It can lower its target's attack power.

The party goes upstairs to floor B6.

At Level 46, Serena picks up the Harpistry abilities Hymn of Air and Hymn of Light.

The ramp is busted up on B6, but in the western wing, the party can defeat a Dragooner and ride its dragon mount. This allows them to reach the landing west of the ramp, where there is a chest. Look out for an Overkilling Machine. The chest contains the recipe book "Brace Yourself", which contains recipes for Life Bracers, Mighty Armlets, Brainy Bracers, Spirit Bracers, and Wristorative.

The southeastern branch from the ramp eventually leads outside, where a slope goes upstairs to floor B5. On B5, they enter the Overlooked Cavern. Heh.

A scene occurs deep in the Overlooked Cavern. Erik has quite a revelation concerning the ore. The party acquires some Orichalcum!

The party Zooms to the South of Gallopolis Campsite. At Level 46, Davilas gains the crafting ability C-C-Cold Blow, which lowers the forge's temperature by 300 degrees. The party forges a Goddess's Tiara for Serena. This headgear reduces the chances of getting instantly killed.

At the roving emporium at the campsite, the party picks up a set of Beast Claws for Rab.

Next time, the party will investigate the situation in Gallopolis.
