We are currently in the postgame. Previously, in Heliodor Castle, the party revealed and defeated Mordegon. Now, it is time to visit the king in his throne room and get lauded and appreciated.
A scene takes place as Davilas enters the throne room of Heliodor Castle. Unfortunately, the celebration is short-lived.
After gaining control, the party heads upstairs and goes out to the balcony. More scenes take place. This feels a lot like Dragon Quest III. Davilas's little "guardian angel" is not such an angel after all. Carnelian asks the party to go to the Emerald Coast to investigate. Even better, Hendrik joins the party. We are now finally eight!
The party gains control in the Throne Room of Heliodor Castle. Hendrik's title is Luminary's Shield. He rejoins at Level 38. He again has to allocate skill points, so he gets most of his panels in Axes.
Some Cobblestoners will be near the exit of the castle to see the party off. The party leaves Heliodor Castle and then exits to the Heliodor Region.
A scene takes place out in the field. Dragon Quest III's overworld music now replaces Dragon Quest XI's. Not bad. The enemies have been upgraded once again, and they're nastier than ever. I would recommend avoiding fights as much as possible for the time being.
The party rides southeast. As they enter the Emerald Coast, another scene takes place. They have another session with the Seer.
Afterwards, they can now ride Cetacea. The objective is to fly to Havens Above.
The party party lands at Havens Above. It seems a lot more complete than in the other timeline. A scene takes place as they arrive. They meet a Watcher, who tells them about an ancient evil. The party should now speak with the Watchers' Elder.
The party can now explore most of Havens Above. Circular lifts will transport the party from island to island.
In the inn on the southwest island, a pot contains a Technicolour Dreamcloth. In a nearby house, a bookshelf contains the book "Sky Fish Guide".
In the house on the southeast island, a barrel contains Saint's Ashes. A bookshelf contains the book "Songs of Erdrea".
On the eastern island, a pot near the item shop contains a Sainted Soma. The item shop contains some decent gear and a good selection of materials. A pot in the item shop contains 100 gold.
In the house next to the church on the northern island, a bookshelf contains the book "History of Erdrea. History of Time". Sounds familiar. A barrel contains a Perfect Panacea.
In the northwest of the island, a scene takes place as the party approaches the Place of Legends. The Mayor introduces them to the somnolescent Elder, Eegoltap. Then, he tells them more about Calasmos, as well as Erdwin and his companions. The Elder awakens to provide a small bit of advice. The Mayor asks the party to meet him at the Temple of Dawn.
After the scene, the party finds a chest in the Place of Legends. It contains the Ultimate Key! Looks like it will soon be time for a treasure raid.
The party saves at the church. Next time, they will go to the temple and speak with the Mayor.
Thanks for watching!
