We are currently in the postgame. Previously, the party defeated Jasper at Yggdrasil, and Davilas acquired the Super Sword of Light. Now, they will head to Heliodor Castle in response to an invitation from King Carnelian.
After resuming in Heliodor, the party heads north into Heliodor Castle. On the second floor, a scene takes place as they enter the throne room. Carnelian and Hendrik reveal some truly special visitors.
Later, Davilas gains control in the banquet hall on the first floor. He is free to explore much of the castle and chat with folks before getting some rest.
In the northeast room, a barrel contains Mini Medal #078. Another contains a Seed of Defence.
The east room on the first floor is Sir Hendrik's. A chest contains a Mighty Armlet. The wardrobe contains Boxer Shorts. The bookshelf contains the book "Drustan's Armour".
After chatting with everyone and exploring, Davilas goes to the Guest Chambers on the west side of the second floor to get some rest. As he is sleeping, though, a scene takes place. As one might have expected, the invitation was not what it appeared to be.
After the scene, there is a priest who provides the opportunity to save.
Another scene takes place as the party enters the throne room. The Lord of Shadows reveals not only himself but some of his dark deeds.
Then, it is finally time to do battle with Mordegon. Hendrik will be in the battle as an AI character. If you're lucky, Hendrik will use Forbearance to protect the party. Mordegon will conjure two staves that will cast spells at the party. As for Mordegon himself, he can cast spells and deal desperate attacks. However, his most annoying ability is to conjure a purple mist that reverses the effects of healing and beneficial status spells and abilities. This means that there will be times when you cannot reliably heal the party. The party should focus their efforts on taking down Mordegon as quickly as possible.
At Level 35, Erik picks up the Knives ability Persecutter. At Level 35, Veronica picks up the Whips ability Hypnowhip.
Another scene takes place after Mordegon's defeat. He has an ominous observation. Another brief scene takes place as Davilas sleeps.
Davilas regains control in the Guest Chambers. The player earns the trophy "The Final Fight". However, that seemed a bit easy for a final confrontation. Jade is now the Warrior Princess of Heliodor.
Davilas saves with the convenient priest on the middle floor. Next time, he will head north to the throne room.
Thanks for watching!
