Using this ability clearly takes pretty exact control over your movements, having to be very deliberate, you have to have good reflexes and be able to predict and have natural insight to your enemy's next movement so you can freeze time right as they do it and counter. If you can do that, it's an excellent skillset. That's why I chose to go for it, and you can see me stopping him right when he has a punch inches from my face or preparing to lunge forward. On my actual character I'm keeping the three versions of it I actually use (forward, back, and the evasion technique) while putting my own skills into the rest. One of those skills is one I've taken from Whis. The rest are customary. But yeah the only advice I can really give for this is keep practicing and have good battle instincts.

It'll still take a while for me to fully master this myself. He was still able to touch me and get some combos in, so there's still room for improvement. The hardest thing about this game, to me, has always been that you get turned around and start punching in the wrong direction too often. Egh.
