In Dragon’s Dogma 2, the Trickster Vocation is a support class that uses smoke magic in order to evade attacks, create environmental hazards for enemies, and provide buffs to their group.

The Trickster can create illusions, such as copies of themselves, smokescreens, or false floors in order to lead enemies into danger.

Using the Illusive Divider spell, the Trickster can set up a smoke screen that acts as a one-way mirror, allowing them to observe enemies while avoiding detection. Visitant Aura is an ability that allows the Trickster to astral project in order to scout out their environment. In this form, the Trickster can float around through the air, ascend, and descend as long as they have available Stamina. One of the Trickster’s go-to combinations is to create a false floor, using their Tricky Terrace ability, then cast Suffocating Shroud to get the attention of all nearby enemies. Once the enemies are chasing, the Trickster can cast Effigial Incense which spawns a clone made of smoke which will direct the attention of the enemies, leading them to their doom. In addition to these spells, the Trickster can also buff their party using Aromatic Resurgence or cause enemies to tremble in fear with their Dragon’s Delusion ability.

The Trickster will be available to play once Dragon’s Dogma 2 is released on March 22nd.
