In this video, Dragon's Lair Time Warp, released in 1991 for the Atari ST by Readysoft.
In the first Dragon's Lair Dirk the Daring finally manage to free and marry Daphne from the evil dragon Singe. After many years Daphne is kidnapped again, this time by the evil wizard Mordroc in order to be forced into marriage. His mother-in-law, clearly upset by the abduction of Daphne, menace and force Dirk to save her once again by using the time machine that will allow him to pursue Mordroc.
The graphics are of exceptional quality, detailed and very well done, they take advantage of the STE enhanced color palette, but the animations aren't smooth as they should. The sound is made of good totally digitized musics and effects. The gameplay differs from the first chapter as it follows a linear sequence of events which flow one into the next one and if we die, we are forced to resume from a checkpoint in that level rather than starting in a randomly different room. The disk swapping (7disks) and the playability are the weak point of that kind of games that are good to see but bad to play, because of the scarce interactivity.
