My goodness does this console suck.
We start this review my doing the shoot games - which all suck and are all boring. The music is bad. The gameplay is bad.
I understand that this console is meant for younger players (the box says 3+ - which is a LIE because three-year-olds CANNOT unscrew the console/controller battery covers, aim the crap gun, or get the battery cover to stay on said gun), but it still sucks. Actual good games meant for young children have engagement, feedback, and are very visual and/or auditory in nature. This console has none of that, so it sucks even for its intended audience.
The infrared gun is terrible too. You can hardly aim it, and you either have to be really close or really far - I cannot determine which...
And also, as I said in the video, this console practically bricked my two capture cards. Soun and Vidoe both work perfectly with my other composite systems with the AV switchbox - only this console didn't transmit audio through it to the capture cards. Other consoles work when directly plugging it into the capture card - this console screws up the device driver on the computer when doing that and destroys the video from working!
Luckily I know a bit about tech and computers to be able to fix it, but still. For that alone, this console is awful.
And now it's time to move on to the other 200 games...
