I've something really, really cool to show you : a little video from Drift Stage !
Currently developed by Super Systems Softworks, Drift Stage is an arcade racing game focused on the spirit of the 80s, with a unique pixel art style, a lovely soundtrack and an incredibly simple and funny gameplay. Just accelerate and go sideways, that's it.
The game just entered in its Alpha, with only one car and one track (called Sunset City). But after just 4-5 laps... let me say that this game is awesome ! The feeling is great, the graphics, the music and the gameplay fit together really well, creating this marvellous old school atmosphere from the 80s arcade machines & video game consoles.
I enjoyed each lap, trying to improve my record and beat the ghost cars. About records, this video is actually the run where I beat the expert time with 1'19"725, however my best lap is 1'19"307 (not recorded). Some Youtubers manage to do 1'18, well I just need a little more training. But it doesn't matter, because I really enjoy this game :)
