Capture missions are well-suited to racing, so I created DriftFrame as a simple format for us to enjoy together! In this video, I explain the rules that I use when I run races during my livestreams on Twitch (linked below), and then I discuss every single frame in the game as they apply to this format.

Since DriftFrame is just a fun minigame I play inside of Warframe, this tier list is also just a fun way to think about the game in the context of this format.

Please keep in mind that this has absolutely nothing to do with a given frame's effectiveness for normal gameplay! I have a bunch of other videos about that and this is not one of them.

Please also remember that this isn't speedrunning. That's its own thing, distinct from DriftFrame. You might think of DriftFrame as a powered-down speedrunning category, but really the goals of this format are also a bit different from speedrunning. I really enjoy speedrunning, and I wanted to make something inspired by but meaningfully different from that. I hope you enjoy it!

I wasn't planning to do this live, but a lot went wrong at the end of 2020 and this was the only way I could get the video made in a reasonable amount of time. One positive result, though, is that you get to hear some of the back and forth with my Twitch community in chat. They make a lot of the videos you see here a lot better than they would otherwise be, and I'm happy that they got to be in this video, if only a little bit! I'll be trying to incorporate that stuff into future videos even more, just in a more premeditated way.
