DRIV3R - Countdown (Press Demo vs Cut Version) | Comparison
69Over the years, we've found 2 versions of the cut mission Countdown. In both cases scripts are missing, so we can't get very far. However, looking at the txt & scripts files, we know that the second part of the mission would have involved Tanner & Jones defusing a bomb in the Istanbul cistern!
The mission took place between "The Chase" and "Bomb The Truck" and was mentioned in a cut dialogue from Bad Hand & Jericho in the "Bomb The Truck" cutscenes.
You see Calita in the "cut version" because it is based on The Chase file, you should be with Jones. The cut version was found in the Japanese PS2 files and is slightly more advanced than the version in the press demo.
