I've played quite a lot of horror games since the beginning of my VR journey, amd it's a genre that i really enjoy. Survival horror is really well suited to the world of Virtual Reality, but let me tell you this....., i've not really felt as 'uncomfortable' whilst playing one of these games, as i did while i was playing "Narcosis"! This is a deeply atmospheric game, that builds tension in all the right places. There are no zombies here, just natural sea-dwelling creatures, but even they are more terrifying when you're stranded at the bottom of the ocean, with a very limited oxygen supply, and only a very small knife with which to defend yourself..... A massive earthquake occured while you were underwater with a research team, and the subsequent shockwave tore your base station apart, and as far as you know, your crewmates too. Your only hope is to find some way to communicate with the surface, and let someone know that you're still alive.......
