no longer bring me joy,
now that she is gone.
Six feet underground,
she rests in barren earth,
as all the tears i shed,
fall to deaf ears.
Yet she always calls,
when the night falls.
In this world we cannot stay,
we walk together to the grave!
At night she comes to me,
a vision of strange beauty.
Til dawn she sings to me,
then takes us astray.
A voice so gentle yet cold,
from lips so soft and so old.
