Oh boy this game is a bit harder to TAS than I thought it would be. I honestly will try my best to actually finish this run, and right now I really like the product I have here.


This is the any% category, as per usual. NG+ world record is a bit under 40 minutes and I think that is a nice goal to aim towards, even thought I am not sure if I can come close to that time yet, since you can litterally just one shot most enemies in it. Power vs Perfection.

Nothing much to say about the tutorial, charging shots dont change the amount of damage, I finish Maxus Drago with a heavy attack cancelled into an ability card. Minor lag reduction was done (I think? A previous attempt lost a few frames on a camera change, and I dont know if it was due to lag or just me missing the timing).

Now Japan 1 on the other hand has a bunch of shit in it.
Finishing a combo on the ground is faster than in the air, so I will shoot, then land and heavy combo an enemy, swap target, and repeat. This allows me to build a combo of 20, which will award some needed points for upgrades. It also is faster.
I might just think of something faster for the single target, I'll test tomorrow, but here I just shoot and heavy combo it in the air so it stays on the ground. It is still invulnerable for a small while so I still have to wait a bit.

NOW, FOR THE LAST WAVE, I've had at least 3 desyncs here and it was a pain. I start by shooting and heavy attacking the first enemy, but on the same frame I get hit by the other enemy. There is a chance I get stunned here, and I need it to happen, not nothing, not a knockdown, a stun. This cause, for some reason, the enemy to take damage every frame or something. It is possible to oneshot an enemy this way. Then on the other guy, just shoot, heavy, ability.

Anyway this is a pretty damn good beginning.
