This is probably the boss that took me the most attempts till now. I've used multiple weapons but I noticed in one of my attempts that if I used the R2 of the Royal Greatsword (I'm sure any other greatsword that shares this R2 will work) in a certain position (it's not precise), the rats... just miss even if it looks like their attacks connected. Bizarre, but I'm not complaining.

As for the "rat" boss, its really about dodging the charge attack, which is harder than it looks as it lingers.
