I was worried about this boss, but I didn't expect a +4 weapon to destroy the sage that quickly. I used the Large Titanite Shards from Farron Keep but it opens the cathedral so I can obtain more of them. I'll probably do Abyss Watchers next as it can get me the Carthus Milkring for more variety in weapons.

1- Iudex Gundyr (Club +0)
2- Vordt of the Boreal Valley (Spear +0)
3- Crystal Sage (Raw Hand Axe +4)
