DSR is Nvidia's new technology that claims to fit 4K picture quality into an HD display. I put it to the test against the normal MSAA and SSAA versions and am surprised by the results.

ALSO: The first analysis video I've uploaded since the 60 FPS roll-out and I happen to choose one thing that I can't record in 60 FPS.

Unfortunately, I can't capture the end result of this but have to rely on a 4K image that's down-scaled in an external program which may make it look better than it does in-game. I can still explain what it is and the additional pros and cons of using it.

It's nice to have the option of DSR and if it supports games that SSAA and other modes don't then it's certainly a welcome tool, but I've been playing Deus Ex and Operation Flashpoint (The originals) with SSAA and have had no problems. Because of this, I can only assume that in most games, DSR will cause more problems than it solves in most situations.
