Over the past week I’ve played through the Callisto Protocol twice, as the first time through I really hated my experience, especially towards the end of the game, but I wanted to see if I’d have a much better go of it knowing what to expect around every corner, and I wanted to try specific weapon upgrades on the final boss that I didn’t focus on the first time through. In doing so, I came to the conclusion that there are 5 core principles that Striking Distance could fix here, or in a sequel, to elevate the gameplay beyond its current mediocre state.
