Duke Nukem 3D - Realistic Arsenal - Episode 2 - Level 2
0Duke Nukem 3D was definitely a product of its time. It came at just the right moment where people were hungering for more of that Doom FPS experience but were seeking something more. Duke delivered it in spades not just in action, but in humor, depth, extraordinary level interaction and complex level effects. It would later be outshined by other FPS games released thereafter, but it still held a special place in many gamer's heart.
The challenge itself is based around the idea that Duke is a normal man and isn't basically a walking tank: able to carry 50 guns on his back with over 200 rounds of ammo for each. We also limit ourselves to realistic items that should exist in our world: so items like the atomic health or holoduke were out of the question. So to break down the rules:
1) No Atomic Health pickups.
2) No Holoduke pickups (or usage).
3) No secrets unless forced to for sake of level completion.
4) No save scumming. Run through each level in one try.
