Hello everyone, here I am bringing a new playthrough to the channel. Here is one of my top Nintendo 64 titles, Duke Nukem Zero Hour. In case you aren’t familiar with our titular gun-totting, alien slaying, babe bedding bad ass, this isn’t the only game from the franchise since it succeeded after the smash hit Duke Nukem 3D that was released back in ‘96. The carnage and crudeness would carry over to this N64 exclusive title, so don’t expect this game to be friendly towards anything you would mentally hold of any moral value. That being said, I’ll explain what goes on in the story. The game begins with Duke who is seemingly getting ready for some R & R, but was contacted by his babe of a commander telling him that New York is in peril. On top of that, he was then warned by another Duke that looks like he’s dressed up from a not-so-modern era. It turns out that the aliens have been going back in time messing things up for humanity, so not only Duke has to liberate New York, but have to go back in time and destroy the alien scum once again for good. Finally, I’m going to talk about how the playthrough is gonna go. The game will be played through the Hard difficulty while all of the secrets and babes are collected. I won’t bother getting 100%s on all of the levels since I won’t be in a mood to hunt for enemies that happened to be hiding from me.

The game is also played on the Project 64 emulator.

After the unskippable introduction that explains the small but understandable storyline, you are at your base of operations where the game can teach how to use weapons and items and deal with the platforming you’re gonna have to go through later on. You don’t have to sit through the training part as you can go right ahead and jump into your helicopter to begin the first level immediately. The first level of the game is what you always think it would be. A cakewalk where you would fight the weakest enemies with the most common weapons you can use. The secrets are the hardest things to look for, obviously, and you’re gonna have to search through nooks and crannies just to get to them. Other than that, there isn’t much trouble.
