1After busting out of the alien controlled prison, Nukem has discovered a steamboat that is also taken over by aliens, and it turns out that they are producing monstrous super soldiers inside. Duke has been tasked to put a crippling wrench in their hideous creations.
As soon as you reach the insides of the steamboat, you’ll find yourself exploring multiple straight hallways that can lead to a room or two. Because of that, it could be easy to lose track of where you’re supposed to go or what you need to do. If you wanna get all the babes and secrets, you’re gonna have to do a bit of backtracking here and there. In the process, you’re gonna have to encounter cybernetic alien super soldiers, a new enemy that’s introduced in this level. These tough guys can shred you up with their own gamma and laser cannons and they can move pretty fast. Not to mention that they are one of those bullet sponge enemies in the game. The best way to take them down is by using powerful weapons that can make short work of them like the 50. cal sniper rifle, .45 revolver with magnum ammo, or dynamite. The gamma cannon can be good against them too, but it takes more time. These guys explode upon death which can potentially kill you instantly, so it’s best to keep away from them when they start their death animation of shutting down.
