One of my earliest childhood memories was my dad coming home from work when I was about 3 years old and in his hand were two Disney VHS tapes. One was The Little Mermaid and the other was Dumbo. I watched both of these movies many times when I was a kid and always remembered Dumbo for the strange imagery and nightmare inducing moments. However, I would always continue to watch and not run away crying even though I found the content scary. As an adult, it's one of the main reasons still why this film is worth a watch.
