Duna. Been there. Done that. Got the T-shirt. Made the video. Made a few of them in fact.

In order to achieve our objective of lifting our leg on every reasonably accessible body in space, we have to go back. Yes, we have visited many of these bodies in previous versions of KSP, but we didn't have flags back then. Flags are an important symbolic gesture, they say loud and clear that the aliens have arrived and any native non-Kerbal life forms better prepare to be subjugated, muthafunkers. And if there are no native life forms, we'll subjugate the rocks and stuff. We'll turn these godforsaken alien blobs of space dust into hellish soul-sucking industrial wastelands just like back home!

Just like God in His infinite wisdom always intended. :D Better than back home, because in space the environmentalists won't get on our asses. ;)
