Miami Heat sharpshooter Duncan Robinson has done it again. After becoming the fastest NBA player to knock 300 three-pointers down back in January, the former University of Michigan player is now the fastest to 500.
Robinson scored 20 points in Miami’s win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday night, going 7-10 from the field and hitting six threes. He reached the 500 mark with just 152 games played, 35 fewer than Luka Doncic.
Russell Westbrook’s statistical achievements are putting him in the smaller and smaller company — more recently on lists where only he and one other legend have been.
That trend continued on Monday when Westbrook registered an eye-popping 21 rebounds and 24 assists in Washington’s 154-141 victory against Indiana. The only two players in NBA history to collect over 20 rebounds and 20 assists in the same game before: Wilt Chamberlain and Russell Westbrook.
Russell Westbrook is closing in on history this season, chasing down the legendary Oscar Robertson's record of 181 triple-doubles in an NBA career.
