Dune is a strategy-adventure game for the Commodore Amiga, and the first video game adaptation of Frank Herbert’s legendary novel. Released in 1992, it blends elements of the book and the 1984 David Lynch film. Players take on the role of Paul Atreides, tasked with harvesting Spice on the desert planet Arrakis, managing Fremen tribes, fending off the Harkonnen threat, and uncovering Paul’s emerging powers as the story unfolds.
