Dune 2000, An underloved RTS from Westwood Studios released in 1998.
This is a remake of the older Dune 2, released in 1992.

Projects like OpenRA are avaialble but require the original game files and not all missions are available. The mission selection map is also unavailable simply presenting all available missions in a scenario list. OpenRA is more designed for multiplayer use so give that a look if you wanna play the old RTS titles in multiplayer with modern support.

Although the game footage is taken with OpenRA for recording reasons, I have personally been using Gruntmods Editon. This edition is free, I'll provide links below, and includes all original music + videos. It doesn't include the same quality of life improvements as OpenRA but it has the full working FREE set of campaigns will all movies and still plays the way it was intended. This includes the ability to choose attack paths in-between missions and the ability to save your progress between maps.
