One might think what is so special about the music of "Dune II" but one has to hear the MT32 version to understand it. The music is different and almost every instrument is programmed and not from stock. It differs much to the GM versions in the same game, they never sound as this synthetic.
DOSBox ECE has the "Munt" project implemented and can emulate a MT32 as soon as the MT32 ROM's are present.
Since it doesn't only re-patches the instruments it's the same fully programmable as the original.
