Almost-blind, definitely will take a bit to get used to the balancing of resources/military/diplomacy/etc.

I reloaded a bunch in this one because I just wanted to get to the end of a run for now while taking some leaps of faith to see how much it'd e.g. take to destroy a main base. (Demolitions seem key, duh, lol)

Overall not too sure how to feel about this game. It's... an RTS-4X hybrid as advertised, but there are way more developed 4X to play right now, including more experimental takes on the genre like Humankind, and the RTS portion of it is just not good yet, which is a shame since RTS is still a lacking genre in 2022. The overall depth for the 4X section seems solid as a foundation, but on the RTS end it currently feels too 'micromanagey' where clicking like a madman so each enemy ranged unit is preoccupied is a massive advantage.

Definitely something to keep an eye out for fans of the franchise though, since it's just the start of Early Access.
