Dungeons & Dragons Dark Alliance - Tutorial, Wulfgar Gameplay & First Impressions (PC/Free via XGP)
2Playing the Action-Adventure RPG game D&D Dark Alliance. It's available for free for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. I play it on PC. First impressions are positive in general, but the game does have issues with AI, animation (e.g. being stuck or a few seconds in the air while doing a hammer-down move), and some too lengthy stun which I didn't like at all.
That being said, the combat feels good for the most part, with lots of cool moves and combos. For me, it's worth continue playing. Roaming in the levels feels good, quite atmospheric, and reminds me of the D&D vibes I got when I play lots of D&D games in my childhood. I also love the cool characters, although no mage character yet, probably in upcoming DLC.
I play as Wulfgar, a Human Barbarian character. There are lots of lore collectibles, loot, and items you can find in different rarities. You can unlock new character moves, increase base attributes, unlock passive abilities, and more.
I am going to play more of Dark Alliance as I enjoy the gameplay so far. I also played alone, but you can team up with other players online.
