The Cyclopes is a classic monster from Greek mythology, originally, there were three of them: Arges, Steropes, and Brontes; capable blacksmiths, these were the sons of Uranus and Gaea and the brothers of the Hecatoncheires and the Titans. In the Dungeons and Dragons roleplaying game, Cyclops live in remote mountain ranges and even more remote coastal islands, with a brutal and simplistic culture often preying on weaker humanoids.
