Developed and published by Capcom, Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow over Mystara & Tower of Doom are a pair of arcade games which were ported over to the PS3, Xbox 360, Windows and Wii U which is what I played this on. Both games are classic arcade beat 'em ups with some roleplaying mechanics. You can play as multiple characters such as an elf or a dwarf and use both melee and magic to vanquish enemies and save the world.
Fellow twitch streamer 1UpJohn joined me for the playthrough as we went through both games on the Wii U. I was pleasantly surprised to see the online still functional on the long defunct system. Together we laughed, cried and reminisced about a by-gone era of gaming. Twas a ton of fun!
