This is a really addictive breakout clone brought up to date in VR on the Oculus Go.

The game may seem simplistic in visuals and gameplay, but once you get a couple of levels in the addiction will set in and you will be trying to clear the level as quickly as possible to see what the next level brings.

At the beginning of each level a block character or object is formed before you, you are given a shield, which in essence is a bat. There are two orbs, and orange and blue one, which begin circling the object that is rotating in front of you and after a few short seconds the game begins.

On your right you will see a percentage counter, to your left a count down clock and on either side a counter which will start by saying 3. The idea is for you to break the percentage of blocks as required before the timer runs out, sounds simple, with two orbs bouncing around the screen it is very easy to miss one or two, use up 3 of either colour or let the timer run down and it is game over.


With all good breakout games, certain blocks will release a timed upgrade which can have either a positive or negative effect on the ball or your shield, from bombs, to reversing your controls or shrinking either orbs or shield.

The objects you are destroying are easily recognisable and remind me of simplistic lego kits and would appeal to the younger player.

I did experience times of slowdown, these were normally when there were more than the two orbs on screen, but thankfully it didn't ruin my enjoyment.
