Dying Light - Part 12 - What Has Rahim Done!
0Hello everyone and welcome back to Dying Light.
After our encounter with Rais's men last time we are heading back to the tower to meet with Jade to make sure she got back on with the explosives. Whilst here we also speak with Rahim, he has heard about the explosives and still has the plan to blow up the hive. Crane tries to talk Rahim out of going, if this is going to happen we will do it alone. We cant let Rahim risk his life for this.
We speak with the doctor about the strange infected that we have been seeing. This infected seems to run away when it sees us. The doctor would love to run some tests but we will need to catch one and obtain a sample. These infected only appear at night so it will be a dangerous mission. We wait until nightfall and try to looks for the strange infected. Due to the current even we have been able to obtain a sample during the day so we can take the sample straight to the Doctor. This sample might hold the information to a cure. Zere tells us of another doctor who has been helping create the cure but this doctor is located in another city. To help find a cure we offer to deliver the sample by hand. We allow the doctor some time to get everything together.
After talking to the doctor Rahim radios us and tells us he had already gone to the hive to blow it us but he's gotten himself in trouble. We need to get to him and fast. We tell Brecken what has happened and run straight to him. We arrive at the train yard that we told Rahim to hide in and start looking for him. Before we can get to Rahim we are attacked by another strange infected that spits at us. After killing it we find Rahim, he's bleeding and is really hurt. Rahim didn't think he would make it so he has armed the bombs so we don't have much time, we need to get this bomb inside the hive quick. We arrive at the building and start placing the bombs on the marked locations. Once all the bombs are set we run outside and watch the building blow, however Rahim has stopped responding. We rush back to him to try and stop the bleeding but we are already too late and he is now an infected. We have to kill Rahim we cant let Jade see him this way.
We radio Brecken and tell him the news about Rahim. How are we going to tell Jade about this. We head back to the tower to speak with Brecken and tell him that Rahim had been bitten and we had to take him out. Crane feels guilty about everything that has happened, whilst we are talking Jade walks in and hears what has happened. Before we can even think Rais and his men attack the doctors camp. We rush over to help them, but it looks like they have taken Zere so we follow his men.
