Apologies for the low video quality. I had to sacrifice a lot of stuff with my recording to get decent framerates with the Rift. Fair warning if you're using a Rift: Turn your video settings down, otherwise you'll have a barf-fest on your hands.

Besides what I said in the video, I actually really like the game. It's a lot of fun, and has definitely taken an interesting turn on a zombie game. Dying Light, to me, improves a lot on what I thought made Dead Island not that great. The story is interesting, the characters have some depth, and the parkour is great.

In the Rift, it's even better, but I was too distracted by the nausea inducing framerate that I didn't get to discuss how great it was. It's very, very cool to jump around and fight off zombies in the Rift. The sense of scale is a bit off though. Not sure, but I can't put my finger on it. Everything kind of looks smaller than it should be. Might just be me. Can someone else confirm/deny this for me?

Verdict - Not too bad. I've seen a lot worse in the Rift, but I was expecting a lot more. It's very apparent that they taxed on the Oculus Rift at the end, and didn't build the game around it. This leads to sub-par experiences, and is a bad trend with games on the Rift. Games that seem good in premise, but fall short in execution. Perhaps they'll patch it later in development, but so far, it's not spectacular. The awful framerates don't help either.

Hope you guys enjoyed this one. I've been slaving at my computer all day just to get this out and rendered. My computer's been having some memory issues lately and my recording/editing software seems to be the culprit, so that leads me to believe my RAM is going out. It sucks, but I need some more anyways.
