Check out part 17 of my Xclusive Playthrough featuring the Following DLC within the game Dying Light! This game released on the Xbox One and Xbox Series family of consoles on January 27th, 2015. It was developed and published by Techland.

In this video, Kyle Crane searches Adam's apartment for clues to the locations of his collection of weapons.

Dying Light is a first-person survival-horror game that is set in an open-world environment: a fictional city that goes by the name of Harran. A mysterious viral outbreak has taken over the city and turned most of the city's population into hyper-aggressive zombie-like creatures which caused the city to go into quarantine (and essentially become closed off from the rest of the world). One of the main things keeping the remaining living citizens alive is a group known as the Global Relief Effort (GRE). The GRE assists the survivors that are still alive inside of the city by regularly airdropping supplies across all parts of the city. The game places the player in control of an undercover GRE agent who goes by the name of Kyle Crane. Kyle Crane's mission is to infiltrate the quarantined zone to find someone named Kadir "Rais" Suleiman, a political figure that has gone rogue and who also has a hold of a file that could potentially destroy the GRE's reputation.

The Following DLC takes place after the events of the main game and continues to follow the story of Kyle Crane who recently learned about a strange group of people that are apparently immune to the zombie virus. They reside on the outskirts of Harran (which is essentially a countryside) and are supposedly part of some kind of cult that is led by a woman known only as "The Mother". The Tower and its people are running low on Antizin so Crane has no other choice, but to investigate the possibility of the immunity to the virus.

Dying Light is most certainly a survival-horror game first and foremost, however, it also has some RPG elements to it. With regards to the survival-horror elements: the player is constantly kept on their toes due to the sheer number of zombies that are always in the player's vicinity (along with a few special zombie classes that increase the difficulty significantly at any given moment). What makes this game even more intense is that ALL of the zombies become significantly stronger, and not to mention, scarier during the night time. The game also employs some light RPG elements to it in the form of leveling up three different parts of your character (survival skills, agility skills and power skills) and a whole bunch of different skills to choose from each time you level up (the game also includes a "Legend" skill tree once the player has managed to level up all of the three main skill trees). The game is played through a first-person perspective with a huge focus and emphasis on movement, maneuverability and verticality. The biggest draw (at least for me) are the amazing parkour elements that this game focuses on along with the fact that this game is fully playable in co-op with up to three other players.

Just a quick note regarding the achievements: this game is similar to a lot of other open-world games where the achievements are quite varied and for the most part can be completed at any point during the game (the game even allows you to free-roam once you complete the main campaign).
