Exercise Dynamic Manta is a NATO-led annual military exercise that takes place in the Mediterranean Sea. The primary objective of the exercise is to improve the interoperability and readiness of participating nations' maritime forces in anti-submarine warfare (ASW) and anti-surface warfare (ASuW) operations. The exercise involves the deployment of ships, submarines, and aircraft from various NATO nations, including Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

During the exercise, participating forces conduct various training scenarios to test their ASW and ASuW capabilities, including detecting and tracking submarines, engaging surface targets, and conducting live-fire exercises. The exercise also provides an opportunity for participating nations to exchange tactics, techniques, and procedures and enhance their ability to operate together as a multinational force.

Exercise Dynamic Manta has been conducted annually since 2015 and has evolved to become one of NATO's premier maritime exercises, demonstrating the Alliance's commitment to maintaining security and stability in the Mediterranean region.
