Note: This playthrough uses a relatively recently discovered patch, which disables the auto lock-on system that normally locks the player onto the first enemy they hit with a normal attack, making it impossible to turn afterwards. (see here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHUzuyzu1k4)

Since I haven't shown most of the Free Mode-only versions of stages yet, I'll go through them all with Nüwa.
It's eight stages, so similar to a regular Story Mode in length as well. (although the difficulty doesn't get as high)

Nüwa benefits extremely well from the lock-on being gone, as most of her moveset is poking with the rapier and she moves forward noticeably, so being able to turn during attacking is vital. I would say she's probably the character where the unmodded lock-on gets in the way the most.

Her Unique Weapon gives a boost to Life/Musou/Attack/Defense, as well as Death Element on the last hit of C6, which normally isn't useful much in regular DW3, but now we can aim the thing, so it gains a proper use against commanders' bodyguards.

Her Musou is single-target, but at the usual height it hits at, every hit counts for two, so it makes her near unkillable, since whenever you drop to red health it's extremely easy to get 16-hit combos with true musou, which forces any soldier to drop either arrows or a small meatbun.
The regular musou also has the property of forcing KO screams on every hit, which is quite amusing, and even more so with the double hits.

YTR is basically running around the castle first and then storming it. It's harder than the Han side, since you have to fight a whole bunch of playable generals, rather than just generics. Nüwa starts on the side of the map with Liu Bei's group, and Guan Yu/Zhang Fei both drop Attack items, which helps a bit.

Funnily enough, Hu Lao Gate basically has the same strategy. Defeat Yuan Shu, then the next closest targets are Liu Bei and his group, with Guan Yu and Zhang Fei again dropping Attack items.

Surprise Attack on Liu Biao has the beach actually be a bit of a challenge as there's Sun Ce, Huang Gai, and also Daqiao to fight, along with a lot of archers. All three are fast attackers which makes them a pain to deal with.
The rockslide event can still trigger, but it won't kill Sun Jian, despite all the gloating about a successful plan.

Wan Castle is where Nüwa's Unique Weapon is, requirement being to defeat Dian Wei, and the weapon spawns right past the gate he's guarding. This stage is very much unlike the Cao Cao version.
Here, the ambushed Cao Cao for some reason has tons of reinforcements, and the entire castle is swarming with archer ambushes. There is also an interesting thing where almost every enemy soldier is labeled Guard or Guard Captain, but the captains don't drop health like you'd expect them to.

Wu Territory is a very quick stage. The main problem here is the same as with Liu Biao. All the enemy playables here are quite fast with their attacks, and the likelyhood of them ganging up on you is very high with how cramped the stage is. If Liu Yao gets defeated, Taishi Ci will defect, just like in the regular version. (if you let him defect, he will have hyper mode stats)

Guan Du is a simple siege, with the only issue being Guan Yu who has hyper mode and the two cutscenes where he can kill Yan Liang and Wen Chou.
The northern wall collapses automatically once you clear the officers from there.

In Cheng Du there's only three officers to fight, with Zhao Yun and Pang Tong having hyper mode to compensate things a bit.
Also, if you are on a horse when the lost in the forest cutscene plays, your character will be on the horse. And despite being on Liu Zhang's side, the map is disabled in the forest, but like always, you can simply pause and check the positions there if you need to.

Last is the Nanman Campaign.
The main difference to the Shu/Wu version is that there are archers around the stage and not just the enemy camp, as well as an archer ambush that triggers when entering Zhuge Liang's camp.
There's an extra item box in the corner of the middle-right path for the Nanman version of the stage.

Nüwa at the very end got not one but two good weapon drops, one with Musou Charge +17, and another with Attack +20/Attack Range +18
I kept the one with Musou Charge as her unique already has the Attack.
