Crisp and punchy. Vivid! Great detail, warmth, and tonality. Surprising, unexpected detail. The bass is definitely there(and deep), but I was expecting a bit more Tyrannosaurus impact and power. Balanced is the word! Love the simple 3.5mm connectors, removable pad rings, cable, and premium build quality. Piano and acoustic tones sound especially nice(among many other things, like vocals). Very nice headphones. If Edition XS wasn't your flavor, and you hate boring things, maybe try these. ;) ZMF pads seem to boost mid-bass, rumble, and tame treble a touch, and are probably my favorite of the 3. These are NOT the bees knees for electronic, however(prefer Hook-X there).
