14The Wii will be backwards compatible with all previous Nintendo consoles. One will possibly be able to log online to buy old NES, SNES, N64 and GameCube games as downloads. Possibly one will be able to connect an external usb2 harddrive to the Wii to thus have external storage space for the Wii to be able to download big N64, GameCube and Wii games on-demand directly from Nintendo online, thus saving money on useless resellers and other businesses that make games retail prices so high.
