E3 2012 is officially less than one month away and the anticipation for the largest gaming event of the year has already begun. Along with announcing that they will have over 20 new game experiences at E3 2012, Sony is set to announce the future of gameplay and innovation. Will this have something to do with enhancing the crossplay functionality between the PlayStation 3 and Vita? A brand new service exclusive to the PlayStation platform? An introduction to the next PlayStation console? Only time will tell, but one thing is for certain, Sony has prepared their loyal fans and the media for one hell of a press conference that could change gaming forever.
Microsoft is also joining in on the pre-E3 hype with information released in regards to a strong focus on the Xbox dashboard, interface, and multimedia functionality. With intentions of becoming the central multimedia hub within the homes of millions, Microsoft looks to further improve the value of their platform this year beyond the typical gameplay experiences. E3 2012 is looking to be one of the most incredible E3s in quite some time and all I know is next month when The Gamer Access lands in Los Angeles, it's on!
