While Sony's PlayStation Vita unarguably provided one of the strongest launch-day software line-ups of all time, it seems Sony's latest handheld gaming device is off to a poor start when speaking of sales. Despite the PlayStation Vita reaching 1.2 million devices sold worldwide a week after its launch in North America and Japan's launch in December of 2011, here we are two months later and the device is hovering around the 2 million mark. The Gamer Access speaks on what is causing the poor sales of the device, despite its outstanding offering for gamers, and what it will take to rebound out of its early slump.
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale has received more leaked evidence than ever before and with Spike TV preparing to announce a brand new PS3 exclusive with gameplay for the very first time this Thursday on April 26th, all signs point towards the title PlayStation fans have been demanding for years. The Gamer Access discusses how large of a bet SuperBot Entertainment and Sony are taking by not only providing PlayStation supporters with a game they dreamed of over the years, but the fact that they will have such a powerful cast on the line. Simply stated, if PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale does not deliver an incredible experience with little to no flaws, the image of the PlayStation brand may be impacted in a negative manner.
