EA Faces Criminal Investigation Over Loot Boxes And Sega Ages Major Switch Games Coming | News Wave
EA has decided to not remove Loot Boxes in Belgium after the Gaming Commission ruled that the current Loot Boxes in games are considered gambling. Other companies such as Valve removed their Loot Boxes, but EA is staying put and is willing to go to court over the matter. At this time it appears that a criminal investigation has begun, and it could set a massive precedence going forward. Sega will be holding a panel specifically for the Sega Ages games for the Nintendo Switch with according to them "Major Title Announcements" to be announced. Could we be getting something big like a Dreamcast game?
