EA is now claiming that people don't really enjoy linear games as much today. This is no accurate. The numbers say otherwise. It's a lie even if we just talk about 2017. Mario Odyssey, South Park, Wolfenstein 2, The Evil Within 2, Prey, Persona 5, Injustice 2, Cuphead, Resident Evil 7, and Destiny 2 all released this year. All of which are considered linear games.
