OZ Retro Gamer note: "We are at the end of the 2022 AFL season, so that only gives me more incentive to go back and replay the severely flawed, but oh-so-nostalgic - "AFL 98", which was released solely on PC CD-ROM in 1997, and is playable these days only on older operating systems like Windows 95 through to XP. This was EA Sports' first (of only two) attempts at an AFL game during the late nineties. And only the second of any note, other than Beam Software's "Aussie Rules Footy" for the NES".
