EA Thinks Prioritizing Story Over Battle Royale Is What Caused a Drop in Sales for Battlefield V
I'm starting to think the top brass over at EA are a little bit thick. They keep saying they are learning from the mistakes of the past and yet they keep repeating them. In their most recent conference call, the language was as corporate as ever and featured just as much gobbledygook but what struck me most was Andrew Wilson's assertion that the reason for Battlefield V underperforming was that they had concentrated on story as opposed to shoehorning in a Battle Royale mode. This strike me as the most out of touch thing I've ever heard him say. And he exists on another planet at the best of times.
