A turn based strategy game of immense length and significant depth. Even more so with the New Horizons mod that I am playing the game with.

We will play the role of a certain Power - and our objective will be to... well.. I don't actually know. I haven't beaten the game. In fact I often get to a certain point and then fail over and over, but I still love the game and I want to record it.

It will play a bit like Masters of Magic - there is an overworld map to manage, and combat-maps in which your armies fight other armies. There's more to it than that though, and there is a difference between your castle and other towns - but we'll see that in game.

Graphically the game will look a bit.. oldish but I think that is part of its charm. Everything is easily recognizable - you should have no trouble seeing what is what.

I mentioned New Horizons - lets cover the mod briefly, if that's possible. It would take too long to cover everything - literally it would take me 3-6 hours to cover everything the mod changes. Eador itself has numerous races, spells, weapons, in game events, etc. The mod adds MORE of it and does a bit of rebalancing, since some spells/skills/units were by far and away better then others.

As for why I wanted to record it - I've been playing this game on and off since it first came out back in 2012 or so. When I saw a modded version of it I grabbed New Horizons and never looked back. It's amazing, more so now that the AI has been toned down a tad.

Lastly - before we begin know that I will... well.. I will probably lose. The game is unfair at times - you can get unlucky and then there's no saving your effort. The game is a rogue like in that regard as well so... it would be start over time. That can happen after hundreds of hours in the game too. So.. just a heads up.
