Early Look at MW2 Firing Range for Multiplayer! (Modern Warfare 2 Firing Range Gameplay)

Early access for the Modern Warfare 2 campaign went live this morning but when you actually first boot up the game on PC you can press F6 and it will you to a create a class menu.

From this menu we can get an early look at the firing range that’s going to be available for Multiplayer.

Overall the firing range seems pretty basic, You have unlimited ammo and there are three different targets for you to shoot and test your weapon out on. You don’t get to see any details about how much damage your dealing or anything like that and the area that you’re in is quite dark which is really ideal.

Obviously because we haven’t leveled up at all yet all of the weapons are locked so you can’t equip them to a class, So i was only able to test out an M4, Shotgun and Pistol that were on the default classes.

When you’re in the firing range you can actually swap classes instantly to try out different weapons but at the moment you can’t edit your attachments while you’re in there but that might just be because they’re all locked.

Even tho it is pretty basic i can still see this being really useful for testing out new weapon builds or checking out camos and blueprints once they’re added in.
