FASTEST M13B Unlock Method for DMZ! (Chemist & Radiation Zone Location DMZ)

In this video we’re going to take a look at a couple of fast ways to unlock the new M13B assault rifle.

If you didn’t already know you need to complete a challenge in the new DMZ mode to unlock this weapon for not only Warzone but also Modern Warfare 2.

That challenge is to defeat the chemist in the radiation zone of DMZ and successfully extract with his dropped weapon.

Now it’s not really going to matter too much what you start with in your loadout but once you first start a game of DMZ you’re going to want to find this yellow circle on the map that has a radioactive icon on it. This is where you’re going to find the chemist.

Once you’ve found where the Radiation Zone is you’ll then want to find a vehicle nearby which you can use to not only get to the zone but you can use it to easily run over and take out the chemist himself.

You’ll see that the chemist is wearing a bright yellow hazmat suit, so he’ll pretty easy to spot.

Just run him over in the car and also run over any other AI that are near him and you’ll then need to jump out and pick up his weapon off the ground, This weapon is also bright yellow so it’s reasonably easy to spot.

Now all that’s left to do is extract from the DMZ. You’ll want to open up your tac map and find this icon which is where you’ll need to go to start an extraction. This works similar to how depositing cash used to work in Plunder, Basically you just go upto the flair point and interact with it to call the chopper in.

You might find some AI around the place trying to stop you and if you can get to the extraction point early enough in the game you should be able to avoid any other real players.


Once the chopper shows up you just need to jump into the back of it and you’re done, You’ll not only have the M13B base weapon unlocked but you’ll also have the blueprint version of the weapon to keep using in the DMZ next time around.

A cheeky little trick that you can do to unlock this super fast is if you know someone who still has the Chemist Blueprint to take into the DMZ then you can get them to drop it at the start of a game and then head straight for the exfil and you can exfil out and unlock the weapon without even having to go to the radiation zone.
