In this guide, I'll show you an easy strategy you can use to restore Eight's Palette and unlock the true ending of the Sider Order DLC for Splatoon 3.

The ultimate challenge in the Side Order DLC for Splatoon 3 is restoring Eight's palette obtained by opening the last locker. The small detail with this palette is that the more hacks you have available, the less color chip slots you'll have during your attempts. I was shocked when I first read this, but I came up with a very simple strategy to complete this run in my first try: I did nothing different. That's right. I just kept doing what I was doing. Let me explain.
As you've seen in my other videos I've gone through the best chips that you can use and even shown you all the available options. And after playing through all the palettes, I realized two things: One, having hacks is better than having color chips because the game felt easier as more hacks became available to me, so, applying this logic, there shouldn't be a reason to panic as long as I keep all my hacks. So what did I do? I doubled down on buying hacks with Marina and ignored the fact that I'd only have 6 chips available. And the second thing, the combo of pearl plus lucky chips provides good support for any situation. With both these ideas, I stepped into the run and I did my best to skip as many levels as I could by going to the vending machines or just paying in case there was not a good chip for me. In the end, I had 2 drone chips, 2 damage buffs for my weapon, 1 poison ink, and, most important of all, 1 max lucky chain. If I could cherry-pick, I'd trade both the damage buffs for another max lucky chain, a lucky chain window, or Turf Lucky Chain for better chain performance so I can keep those items dropping left and right, or for a Sticky Ink to slow down enemies for better crowd control.

That's really all you need. There's no need to say that you should avoid the Danger and Rigorous levels as much as you can, these can put your run at risk. And if there's no other way to avoid them, just play it safe. Use the pearl drone and lucky chain to your favor to buff yourself. Take your time dealing with the enemy waves until the objective for each level is clearly achievable. That's really it. If you've come this far, you're probably a decently skilled player, so, just believe in yourself! You can do it.

This is the last Splatoon 3 video I will be doing unless there's a new DLC which I doubt, so, I hope this has been useful, thank you very much for watching and I'll see you in Splatoon 4.
