Gram for gram, crickets have about double the protein found in beef. They might be ugly to look at, but given proper preparation they're safe--and even tasty--to eat! Cultures all around the world accept insects as a normal part of their diet, and maybe we should start looking that way, too. Would YOU eat a cricket or a grasshopper?

Do note that it describes it as coming in a can, but the product actually comes in a bag. No issue for me, but figured I'd let you all know.
