Dr. C. Rangarajan, Chairman, Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister released the document 'Economic Outlook 2013-14' at a Press Conference in New Delhi.

As per the document, Industry (including manufacturing, mining and quarrying, electricity, gas, water supply and construction) projected to grow at 2.7% in 2013-14 as against 2.1% in 2012-13.

Manufacturing sector projected to grow at 1.5% in 2013-14 as against 1 % in 2012-13. Services projected to grow at 6.6%in 2013-14 as against 7.1% in 2012-13.
